We shall descend along the Calle del Ravalet from which we can see the mountainous hills of “Coll de Rates” and “El Carrascal”. We will cross the Gorgos River and arrive at the Sanctuary called “Ermita de San Juan de Mosquera”, a building located in an old “Morisco” (converted Muslim Christians) settlement that had 30 houses and diverse hydraulic and agricultural buildings in 1577. We shall continue the hike in the direction of “El Massil”, on the border of the “Peña Atalaya” (Watchtower Rock). From here, the views reveal the inland Marina area, a territory full of terraced lands and typical crops of the zone: almond trees, grape vineyards and cherry trees.
